Saturday (12/15) was a hard day for Bernie and his Mom. Bernie got a call at 6AM that the Humboldt ambulance was bringing Blanche to Sanford's emergency room. Bernie met them there. The ER staff got Blanche taken care of and Bernie took her back home to get some things and then settled her in at Mary and Jerry's house. Monday night (12/17) Bernie had to miss our Janelda night and help his brothers bring Blanche to the Nursing Home in Salem to stay for awhile. A tough ordeal for them all. Janine, Nelda and I had invited our husbands to go with us for the evening and Kim and Dave were able to come. We had a nice dinner at Red Rossa and then decided to drive down to the Falls and see the Winter Wonderland lights. It was beautiful! Dave had his camera and tripod and got a great shot of all of us. What a pleasure to have such great friends to spend a wonderful evening with! We missed you Bernie!
