Washington DC Day Six - June 7

We got to sleep in a little today and then Josh got up and ready for his day at his ACP functions.  He looks pretty professional!

 After he left, we had to decide what we were going to do with our day!  Ate breakfast in our room.  Bernie bravely took over Josh's position in the chair.

 Then got busy with naps and reading!

 After naps, we headed to the pool at about 10AM.  We decided a day of leisure was in order.  Our hotel has such a beautiful pool, why not enjoy it? 

 We lounged, read, swam, brought in lunch from McDonalds, and had such a good time just being there.  Josh came back and joined us.  Finally at 5:20PM, we went to our room and got cleaned up.  Headed to Murphy's Pub and enjoyed a great supper - Steak for Bernie and Josh, Salmon for me and Spaghetti for Steph.  We had quite the waitress.  She was so slow and inattentive.  We got tired of waiting for the bill, after a long wait for our food, that we just got up and paid at the bar. 

 Back to the hotel and found Steph & Josh waiting for us, catching up on Facebook and emails.

Walked around the hotel and it was once again crowded.  All week we had seen lots of people here for the 100 year celebration for Girls Scouts.  Tonight Jill Biden is here speaking to the convention.  She has written a children's book and gave every one at the convention a copy.  Awesome!  Kind of wanted to sneak in line......Back to our room to relax and get ready for another great day tomorrow!
