Steph & Josh Housewarming Party

Steph & Josh had talked about having a Housewarming Party after they moved into their house. They finally got it organized for July 17. They worked fast and furious for about a month getting things done that they had talked about doing. One of them was to get a picture made and framed from their session at Harolds in February. It was a close call. Hobby Lobby broke the framing pieces they had ordered for Steph, so they had to hurry and get replacements. They did a good job and got it done just in time. Steph had Dan hang it over their couch. Becca went out and took a picture of Steph & Josh with the sunset behind them one night. It also turned out well and Steph & Josh had a large one made and put it above their bed by the "Always Kiss Goodnight" plaques.Steph covered chipboard letters and made some vinyl letters and put them in their mud room. Awesome!Becca and Travis looked great and posed for their picture.And of course Becca and Steph posed for another picture of them!And a goofy one!Becca loved the green balloon Steph got.The kitchen was set up with the good food.The cake was beautiful.Bernie provided the beer.And the ice coolers kept it cold.

The garage was ready for the guests.We took a family picture before all the guests arrived. Travis likes this one because he doesn't look like the tallest one!
"Water" Pong was a blast for everyone. It couldn't be beer pong because Becca was in charge of organizing the game and she wasn't 21! Didn't prevent everyone from having fun with it. Don Gaskill got a little wild!

It was probably the hottest, most humid, day of the summer and the weather got a little scary. We had wind, we had rain, we had thunder, we had lightening and then a rainbow!

Adam and JJ, Joel and Sandy, Don and Joan, were all there enjoying the party.

Travis's Mom Dorothy came. We were so thrilled to meet her and she was so sweet. She was a good sport and played pong.

Then joined Joan and I in the cheering section.

Steph is very lucky to have a good friend like JJ. She is her JaNelda! (inside joke)

Travis and Don paired up against Bernie and Becca.

The weather colors were eerie, but they made a good background for a picture!

Adam and Val DeWitte stopped by. Talk about a small world. Adam recognized Travis - both are from Garretson. And Adam had Dorothy as Librarian when he was in school!

It was a really fun party and even though the crowd was not huge all the time, it was a blast!
