Vermillion
After spending a long weekend in Vermillion, I can see why Steph liked living there and why Becca loves it. Vermillion ALMOST has everything you need. Walmart is like a little mall and you can find almost anything you need there. It is a much better Walmart than my east side Walmart, which, since the renovation, is not my favorite place anymore. Dollar Tree is an awesome dollar store and is better than the one in Sioux Falls. There are many nice places to eat and we enjoyed some while we were there – Main Street Pub, Little Italy, and Mr. Smith’s in Jones Food Center. There are actually 2 movie theatres in downtown! Free camping at the Lions Park of course was awesome. Becca runs into people she knows quite often in places we go to. I saw a Public Library in town and any town that has one is good. It didn’t take us long to get around town and Becca’s friend Lyn found us in the campground. I can see why my daughters like living there!

I loved it but we technically had to "rough it." The walmart wasn't there at that time and wehad to drive to sioux city or yankton to go to one. More work but our midnight road trips to walmart might have made better stories.
