Girl's Weekend

Bernie headed off to Mankato with his brothers for the weekend of June 4 through June 6. While he was away, after we bought ourselves a truck, the girls and I had a crafty, relaxing weekend. Friday night Steph and I did a little Hobby Lobby shopping and then scrapping and cardmaking. Becca joined us during the weekend when she could when she was off work. Here are some of the cards I made - the first two to thank Grandma Hall for her gift and the second one for a friend who is turning 80.

Steph is doing an amazing job of making cards with her Cricut. The first card (sorry it won't turn the right way in blogger!) is for Josh's cousin who amazes Steph as the mother of 4 kids, one a set of twins. The second is for Grandma Hall.

Sunday, Josh, Steph and I went to Uncle Ed's Customer Appreciation Open House and enjoyed pork sandwiches. That night Steph & I went to a shower for Val Fisher at Alyssa Hammrich Olsen's house. It was a blast - backyard in beautful weather and confession time around the bonfire. It was a wonderful weekend of fun, but we were glad to see Bernie come back. We miss him when he is gone! He had a great time, too.
