Corbin Charles Hughes joined our family on Monday, November 19 at 10:54PM. He weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long. Here is the picture we got right after announcing he was here.
Look at all that dark hair! Just like his Mama had when she was born!
I came home on Monday morning from work to take care of Hadley. She wasn't feeling well and spent the day cuddling on my lap in Papa's rocking chair. Also spent the day waiting to hear from Steph & Josh. On Tuesday night I picked up Hadley from daycare and she was feeling better. Brought her up to the hospital to see Mom & Dad and meet her new brother. Steph & Josh had Corbin in the nursery when we first got there and they spent a little time getting Hadley used to their room.
Then Josh went and got Corbin and brought him in to meet his big sister.
Hadley liked the "baby" as she kept saying and kept touching him.
Now the Hughes are a family of 4!
He was pretty awake when he first came in the room. Big dark eyes!
Hadley didn't have any problem with me holding Corbin.
Auntie B came to meet her new nephew, who she calls her new sports buddy.
Auntie B's shadow, Hadley, enjoyed seeing Auntie B with her brother.
Hadley liked to touch Corbin.
There is room on Grandma's lap for two grandkids!
Hadley snuggled with Mom and watched Elmo.
Val and Adam came to visit and hold Corbin.
Plenty of room in the bed for three!
Papa came to meet Corbin, too!
