Minneapolis Day One

Didn't start out Saturday, August 6th, for our Minneapolis vacation as early as Denver. We slept in and didn't start our journey until 9AM. Got gas in Sioux Falls and then hit the Interstate. Only two stops to stretch and change drivers and we were in Bloomington before 1:30PM. Great timing for an Ideker trip! We were afraid our hotel room wasn't ready, but it was and we got settled into our room. Decided to hit the Mall of America. Boy was it crowded! Saturday, of course! We saw a sign for a new bar and grill on 4th floor, so we took the escalators up there. Becca is a little afraid of heights, so Bernie helped her not look.

This new bar is like a Dave and Buster's, with lots of games, TV's and what looked like good food.

Even a bowling alley!

Bernie took our picture in front of the Cantina #1 on our way to Hooters.

Becca has been drooling and thinking about the Deep Fried Dill Pickles at Hooters, so we ate supper there.

After a wonderful meal at Hooters, we decided to take in a movie. The Change Up just came out yesterday and we went to the Mall Of America Theaters to see it. It was a great movie.

Then back to our hotel and rest for the busy next day of baseball!
