Becca's New Apartment

On July 1st, Becca got her new apartment. Bernie and Becca went to Vermillion that day with the pickup and moved all her furniture and things from her duplex with 3 other roommates to her new one bedroom where she will be all by herself! She knows she will love this. She loved her roommates, but she also enjoys alone time. For one more semester before graduating, she will have a great place to stay. On Saturday, July 6, Steph, Travis, Becca and I went to Vermillion to unpack and settle her in. She had a nice closet in her bedroom. Of course we had to take the required "sister shot".

Becca's bedroom is done, of course, in lime green. There is a door leading outside from her bedroom that has a small patio and stairs down to the parking lot.

Her bathroom is small but adequate. There is an old fashioned clawed tub with a shower in it.

The kitchen is huge. Becca will love cooking here.

Travis worked hard and had to take a nap.

He did a great job putting together Becca's new dining room table and chairs.

Becca's rubber ducky collection found it's new home on her bed.

We took a break and had pizza at Pizza Hut. Then Travis treated us to ice cream at Scoops downtown. Becca's friend Kelly joined us.

Summer will go way too fast and Becca will be back in Vermillion beginning in August when Jolley Elementary starts school. She will have a very nice place to live!
