Big Ideker Christmas

Today was a busy day, getting ready to have the Idekers here for Christmas. We were looking forward to finally meeting Timm's wife, Annie, and his kids Tristan and Quinn. The doorbell rang, and Gustaf's delivery guy, Darrin, was here with a beautiful delivery. Timm and Annie sent us a beautiful centerpiece! What a great surprise! Our guests all began arriving around1PM. We had a house full and it felt wonderful! Nice to have 4 kids here to add to our celebration. Angie took this cute picture of Danica and Quinn.

Then Tabor came over to get in the action.

They finally convinced Tristan to get in the picture with is cousins and his little sister.

We chatted for awhile and enjoyed getting to know Annie, Tristan and Quinn. Then enjoyed a nice buffet of Chili, cheese bread, various veggies, cheeses and meats. And of course the "cookie/candy spread" from our busy Saturday baking day.

After everyone had their fill of food, we started bingo. Bernie had worked hard gathering prizes for everyone to choose from when they won.

I got to practice being Grandma while Bingo was going on.

The competitive feel was in the air!

The Bingo caller did a great job running the games.

His assistant handed out the cards and then kept an eye on the players. I haven't lost it - I could take pictures one handed while I held Quinn!

The Bingo caller had the guests choose their gifts and then held Blackout for money. Bingo was a hit.

Next was an Idiot Tournament. Annie wanted to see my scrapbook corner downstairs and see Steph & Josh's wedding scrapbooks, so we skipped the Idiot Tournament and talked scrapbook talk. I am told Rick won the Tournament.
Picture time! Too many people for a group shot in our little house, so we did family shots. Here is Angie, Tabor, Jason and Danica.

Four generation picture!

Tristan, Timm, Grandma Ideker, Quinn and Annie.

Timm's family shot.

Another four generation shot.

Annie took a picture of us.

Kay and Rick.
Sorry Mary and Jerry - you escaped before we got a picture of you!
When I loaded my pictures, this is what I also found on my camera!

Funny how that seems to often happen - I find pictures I didn't take!
Our Ideker Christmas was a success. It was great to have Timm and his family join us this year.

What a fun day! So excited most of our family could get together and celebrate! Was so much fun to have a semi chaotic Christmas! Thanks for all your hard work hosting!
