Opening Game for New Sioux Falls Pheasants

Another Ideker fun evening! We all decided to go to the Opening Game for the newly named Fighting Pheasants (formerly Sioux Falls Canaries). The weather hasn't been cooperative for fun outdoor activities, so we all suited up in our winter clothes and winter coats and gathered blankets and comforters. The players look good in their new orange and black uniforms. The new mascot was out in full force enjoying the fun.
We had excellent seats, 4th row behind first base. We tested out the new cuisine in the concession stands and enjoyed BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiche, Briskit sandwich, sweet potato fries, and Pheasant Phingers. Bernie tried the hot chocolate but it cooled really fast.

I always get surprises when I load my pictures:

The game was really good. About 4 home runs during the game and during the 8th inning, there were 2 grand slams. Even Josh was jumping up and yelling! That kept us warm. The Pooh comforter Becca brought, wrapped around all 4 kids, helped too.

Becca even tried keeping her head warm with Travis's glove.

It was a fun evening and even though it was cold out, the game and togetherness of family kept us warm!
