Sunday in Vermillion

Last Sunday (April 18) we went to visit Becca in Vermillion. We have been wanting to go down and see her on a weekend and it finally worked out we could. Travis came over about 9AM and we headed to Harrisburg and picked up Steph. Becca had a list of chores to get done and after we slaved away on them, (ah, after Bernie and Travis did) we went to the Main Street Pub for lunch. On our way back, we had to stop at Jolly Elementary to play on the playground. Becca spends the lunch hour every day during the week there, so she wanted us to see where she spends her time. We had a great time goofing off.

Becca ripped her button off and I tried to fix it for her.

I found a pirate eye patch and tried it on. Got the lecture from "Miss Becca" in her stern playground voice, that I was not to pick stuff up from the ground and put it on!

Found a few pictures on my camera when I loaded them up on my computer, like always, that I did not take.

Travis brought Becca a new stuffed animal, this cute little puppy that she had been drooling over at Walmart for awhile. We had tucked him in when we left to go eat and he was waiting for us when we got back. The green fuzzy ball Bernie had found at Shopko and just had to get for Becca. Guys sure do spoil her......

We settled in and watched "The Box" with Cameron Diaz. Not the best movie. Steph was cold and covered up to warm up.

Becca and Travis had to reprogram the remote when we got done - guess we had used it wrong!

Headed back home after the movie. We had a wonderful day in Vermillion. Dropped Steph off at home and gave Josh our opinion on what rock and brick to use in the landscaping. Took Travis to his car so he could head home and then dropped over at Don & Karen's house to check out their new camper. It is beautiful. Will be a great place to stay in Knoxville when they go to the races. Don has rented a spot there and will tow it down soon. Another great weekend of family and friends!
