Becca came home Thursday, April 1, for her Easter break. On her way home that day, American Eagle called her in to work and since she can't say no, she went in for a few hours that Thursday night. She got off about 9:30PM and came home and entertained Bernie and I with stories of her roommates and the kids at Jolly Elemetary, where she works the lunch recesses. We just love hearing her stories about the second, third, fourth and fifth grade kids. Becca told us when she took this job that she didn't know why she took it because she hates kids. She now knows all the kids by name, quite a bit about their lives and hurried back from Christmas break a little early so she could go in and work a few days before her school work started. We chuckle at her tales about what they say and do and chuckle even more about how much she loves them! She tends to run into some of the kids outside the school (at Walmart in Vermillion, at American Eagle in Sioux Falls, and even at the Mall of American in Minneapolis). Keep up the good work Becca on being a positive influence on these kids!

I love Beccas stories about her kids. My all time favorite though is the poor kid that got his shoes thrown into the dumpster. Trooper Becca climbed in to get them out!
