Had a blast last night at a Stampin Up Party. Everyone there was a co-worker of mine from the VA except for my lovely daughter Steph, who fit in quite well. We had a great time talking, laughing and just being together. I think our consultant, Susan, had a good time with us. She is very creative and made some cards with fun techniques that we could learn. This is the card she let us make. It is well known with my co-workers that I am not a fan of birds. But I explained it is the feathers I am not fond of and that I thought this little bird was cute.
They reminded me of the time we had pigeons visit us in the Rehab Department. Some construction people had left one of the back doors open and some pigeons got in. I reminded them that the minute I found out they were in the department, I was OUT of the department and did not return until much later! Shannon had wanted to be a Veterinarian but decided to be a Physical Therapist instead and she carried the birds back out the back door. Yuck!! Fond memories!?!?!?!?
