The Ideker Project

Bernie and I finally got some money saved for some changes to our house. First major project is new flooring in the basement. We chose new linoleum for the bathroom and new carpet for the family room/study. We had to get the old carpet out. We moved everything we could out of the basement. Then removed the old carpeting. What a mess! You can see the "gold dust" in the picture I took of the basement. There was lots of gold backing from the old carpet to clean up.

Bernie scrubbed the cement floor and painted it with a finish to remove odors and seal the cement.

Our utility room and garage is full of everything we had in the basement.

Now just wait for the big day to come when Thornton sends the linoleum and carpet layer!! Can't wait.
