My family thrives on traditions and routines. We started a tradition and routine quite awhile ago. I think about the time the girls were in college. When they left, we stood in the window and waved goodbye. Now that routine has trickled down to Hadley. She is insistant on waving to anyone leaving. Today was President's Day and it was a fun, relaxing day for everyone except Bernie who had to work. Becca was over for supper and the Hughes are living here, so when Becca got ready to leave, we perched on the bench and waved goodbye to her. And she waved back! Great feeling!
