Grandparents On Duty Night (GPOD) (2/25/13)

Steph and Josh had a function for Josh's Med School at CJ Calloways tonight and Bernie and I were GPOD (Grandparents On Duty).  Bernie and I used to call it POD (Parent On Duty) when one of us was gone and the other one was in charge of the kids when Steph & Becca were little.  We have expanded it now to GPOD.  Same thing - just another alphabet letter!  Hadley was polite tonight and acted sad when Steph & Josh left, just for their sake, but was fine when they got out the door, even waving goodbye to them at the window.  Good show kiddo!  After supper, Bernie suited up Hadley for the cold.

 They went outside for a long walk and were gone about 45 minutes.  You can't really see them, but they are sitting on the front step talking.  Mostly about how they should come in but Hadley didn't want to.

 It was a tough job for me in the house.  This is what Corbin did the whole time they were gone.

 Jamma time and of course Papa has to read little Hadley a couple of books before she is off to bed.

A fun evening being one on one with the Grandkids!  Hope Steph & Josh had as much fun as we did.
