Denver Vacation Day 5

I wake up today, July 16 (Saturday) to find Becca sleeping on the couch. So glad we have this huge room with lots of space and furniture! She said she had trouble sleeping, so moved to the couch to read and finally fell asleep there. We let her sleep in while Bernie and I eat breakfast. Today Bernie and I are going to go visit his Uncle Carlyle and Aunt Eva Eisenberg. Becca says she isn't going to let a little cold mess up her vacation day, so we leave her in the room to get ready. We have an enjoyable visit with Carlyle and Eva and return to find Becca ready to go. We head to the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, CO, for a day of shopping.

Bernie does his own thing while Becca and I shop. We take a little break in the food court and have a breadstick and something to drink so Becca can take her meds. She is moving slowly but steadily!

Becca and I have a very successful shopping trip while Bernie has a margarita in a mexican cafe, reads his book, and naps. What a patient guy! Here is our "loot".

We spend some time in the room napping and blogging. Becca wants to sleep better tonight, so we head back to Target for some nighttime "relief". Then to Finn McCools Bar and Grill for supper. We are afraid we can't find this spot at first because it is tucked behind a corner in a little shopping area, but we finally find it. Not many other people have found it either. For a Saturday night, it is quiet. But we have a good supper of salsa and chips, onion rings, enchilada, pizza, and smothered burrito.

Back "home" now and relax. The movie "Pretty Woman" is on TV and we all love that movie, so we watch it again. Becca takes her meds and settles in for the night, hoping she can sleep off this cold! Tomorrow is our last day in Denver and we want to be able to enjoy it!
