Wonderful Saturday

Had a wonderful Saturday yesterday. Started out the morning with my ritual of coffee over the paper. Love to start my day that way. Then my sister-in-law, Karen, picked me up and we did a little road trip. Went to Rock Valley to an awesome scrapbooking and stamping store. Started out at Loopy's Dollar Store and and on to A Walk Down Memory Lane. Spent lots of leisure time looking both stores over and spending way too much money! Fun! Here are some of the cute things we saw made as samples in the store.But Karen, we both had our cameras, why didn't we have that nice gal in the store take our picture with our full baskets of things??? Next time....... We ate a wonderful lunch at the little cafe in Rock Valley, Stone Soup. Karen had a great cheeseburger and fries and I had Cheese Soup and Tavern. It was very good. We had time left before I needed to be home, so we headed to Sioux Center after a quick stop for a latte, for the road, from the Pump 'N Pack (bathroom break, too!). Sioux Center has a wonderful Walmart and we got a few things there. Then home so I could head to Bernie's Hanson Cousin Get Together at Barb's House. She made these great invitations and I loved how it was "Brother's, Sister's and Cousin Bern". Love being an honorary Hanson! Enjoyed visiting, catching up and ate a great soup supper. Brownie with ice cream was great! Then sorrowfully needed to leave so we could join Steph & Josh at a Skyforce Game. The game was fun and festive and even though Skyforce is on a losing streak and they fired their coach on Friday, we had a good time.

Looks like they are selling the seats down on the floor where the players usually sit and they have to scrunch in the corner!

Thunder was having a good time all over the arena!
