Home Improvement - Bathroom!

Bernie and I aren't much on home improvement projects, but we had talked about doing a new bathroom cabinet for a long time. We finally got down to work on it. After a few calls, found out that Bullseye Custom Cabinets was one of the best places to get a new cabinet. They came out and measured and gave us an estimate. We decided we could afford it and went to their showroom and picked out wood, handles, countertop, etc. Soon they called and it was ready. They gave us a name of a guy who could install it for us. Bernie called him and he was cheap and could do it on Martin Luther King Day, so I didn't even have to take a day off work! Bernie worked hard on Saturday and got our old cabinet out. Here is the old one.

He had it out with just a few glitches. He was planning to do the plumbing himself, but realized that wasn't going to happen. Thank you Frisbees for coming over on Saturday, for a price. Here is the cabinet in the middle of the bathroom.

Mike came over Monday morning. That is why I said I had the house to myself, sort of. Mike was in for a few hours in the morning installing our new cabinet. He did a great job. Then Frisbee came back in the afternoon and hooked up the faucet. Oh, yeah, he also removed the shower doors on the bath tub. No picture for you there - that is too gross! There is so much mold and yuck that built up under those doors. Frisbee guy gave us the name of a person who we can get to come and clean up the tub and fill the holes. Will be giving him a call soon! But we are happy with the way the new cabinet looks and we now have a drawer for our garbage, just like the Hughes!
