A Sunday of Friends & Family

Our Sunday today was filled with friends and family. We took off early this morning (8AM) and headed to Delmont to spend some time with Joel and Sandy Baier. We hadn't seen them in awhile and even though we love getting together with their family in tow, we were a little selfish and wanted them to ourselves. We arrived and visited for awhile then had a wonderful lunch of grilled steaks, baked potatoes, salad and garlic bread. Bernie had told them about Steph and Josh bringing him back a glass from the original Cheers bar. Joel said he had episodes of Cheers to watch. He put one in the DVD and it had the pilot episode for the series. Bernie and I didn't remember ever seeing it before. It was a blast watching several beginning episodes. Bernie enjoyed his beer in his Cheers glass that Steph and Josh had gotten him.Sandy and Joel watched from their new recliner love seat.

And we posed all together for a group shot. We never do that! Got us all in one shot.

All too soon it was time to leave. Drove to Hartford to join Bernie's brothers and sister-in-laws and Mom for a birthday dinner for Rick. Awesome steak supper. Wait a minute...... I really don't like steak that much, but had it two times in one day! What a day! Great fun with friends and family!
