Little Ideker Christmas

We had our "Little Ideker" Christmas on Thursday night, December 23. Becca was finally home for Christmas break. She decided to stay in Vermillion and work at Jolley Elementary until they went on break. She was actually done with classes a couple of weeks ago. Travis was home, too, and we were all free to celebrate this evening. After a nice supper of stomboli, we noticed that Santa had come and filled our socks! This year we put the tree downstairs. We are hosting the "Big Ideker" Christmas and there will be 18 of us, so we need the room upstairs for people to sit. We brought our stockings downstairs to open.

Wow, lots of gifts!

We opened our stockings first. Santa was good to us again and he did some shopping at Menards again!

Then we started on the gifts under the tree. This is just a sample of the many wonderful things we got!

Becca gave us all cool football shirts with our teams on front and names on back. We will have to do a family shot when we wear them Superbowl Sunday.

Awww, aren't they cute!

Here is the "we must always do a sister shot" one for this event!

The basement looked like pure chaos when we got done!

Then we did the traditional family shot! Awww, aren't they cute!

A few more quick shots by the tree:

Becca was in love with her new moon boots - will be wonderful on the playground!

Steph made us the most adorable brag books. Lots of work (and love) went into these beautiful masterpieces.

Becca was in love with the footie pj's she got.

Travis was a little embarrassed by her!

She got two pair!

Travis got back at her by wearing her boots!

It was a fun filled evening and over too soon. We came upstairs to about 2 inches of snow that looked like it was blowing a little. Steph & Josh & Travis headed home. We ended up with about 5 inches of snow overnight! Merry Christmas!

That Becca is always worth a few laughs! So glad we keep her around and may be seeing a lot more of her soon! Thanks for all the wonderful gifts! Santa was very generous this year!
