Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day Bernie! So glad I chose you to be the father of my two beautiful daughters. Look at the wonderful job you did! Just kidding – here is really what a great job you did.We are so lucky our daughters turned out fantastic and brought an awesome son-in-law into the fold. We were busy when they were young, but we always made them the main focus of our lives. Now that they are grown, it is such a good feeling that they still want to spend so much time with us. I think you are as close to them as any Father can be. They are so lucky to have you in their lives! Father's Day was nice this year. I wore my best apron while getting supper ready. Bernie grilled and we ate a nice supper. He enjoyed his gifts. Becca ordered him floor mats for our new truck and they still need to arrive.

We did a blast from the past. When the girls were little, we would eat our ice cream cones/bars/sandwiches on the front steps. So for nostalgia sake, we had them on the front steps. We take up a little more room now!
