Friday night we enjoyed the all you can eat Crab Legs buffet again. It was awesome. They even extended the Crab Legs to Saturday night. Saturday during the day (Halloween), Bernie and I did our usual walking the main street of Deadwood. We enjoyed looking at the model trains again, but this time, the back room was open and the guys who man the display were "working". They let us come "backstage" and look at things that way. A couple of them gave us a little tour and pointed things out.Like this lit up diner. And these nude sunbathers on the hill. And the guy on the other hill with the binoculars looking at them! Those train guys have quite a sense of humor! We met Rick and Kay, Lana and Randy at a nice place for lunch. It was underneath one of the casinos and was decorated like a Mine. Nice place. Bernie and I of course were early and sat at the bar and had a drink and read our books. One of our favorite hotels is the Celebrity Hotel. We always enjoy going in and looking at the movie/celebrity memorabilia. It was a fun, relaxing day. After our large buffet dinner, Bernie and I found a nice spot in Mustang Sally to watch the baseball game for the World Series. But the game was rain delayed, so we went to the casino where the costume contest contestants were registering. What costumes! Winner got $1000, so there were lots of fantastic costumes. Unfortunately we decided to go back to our room and watch the baseball game when it started up, so we didn't see who won. But it was so much fun looking at the costumes we saw. It was a fun, relaxing weekend and Sunday was our trip home. Ended too soon!
